Dublin Pan African Workers Open Meeting

Following on from our recent discussions in Derry, Belfast and Dublin were these events examined 'Migrant Workers and Workplace Organising'. All discussions were led by representatives from the Pan African Workers Association (PAWA), the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) trade union and the Africa Solidarity Centre.


This forthcoming open event , is organised by the Pan African Workers Association Ireland (PAWA) will take place both in-person and online at the Irish Network Against Racism Office, SPADE Enterprise Centre, St. Paul's, King Street North, D07 TX2D, Dublin on Saturday 1st August at 14:00pm.

Speaking prior to the event, a spokesperson for PAWA Ireland said that: "During this event, we will be discussing the next steps to keep building workers solidarity and workplace organising.


"We would encourage all migrant workers interested to come along. If you are interested if finding out more, this will be an excellent opportunity to talk with other members, so to come along to the event.


"Likewise, if you are interested in joining the Pan African Workers Association, you can sign up on the day itself or by completing the IWW application form online, and specifying that you want to join as a member of PAWA. All migrant workers are eligible to join."
