The Industrial Workers of the World, Ireland Branch will be taking part in this years TRANS AND INTERSEX PRIDE DUBLIN on Saturday JULY 11th at 2pm. City Hall.
IWW are asking members to take part in the planned events to show your support and solidarity with our fellow workers.
A spokesperson for the IWW said a head of this years TRANS & INTERSEX PRIDE stating: “As a union, the IWW call upon members and the wider labour movement to stand-by the trans and intersex community at this time.
”It is important for all of us, to reach out to the community that has repeatedly been isolated, targeted and come under sustained attack. By attending the Dublin Trans and Intersex Pride, this means that you are expressing your support and you are openly expressing much needed love and solidarity at an important time. The organisers of this event have directly called for members of the public to help become stewards during the event, to ensure those attending are supported and guided while marching.
"The weather is said to be good during the next few weeks, so sun cream and water will be provided, but please bring your own supplies if you can. Likewise, masks are encouraged and will also be provided to keep people safe.”
