On the Streets: Thousands rally against Trump

Thousands marched through the streets of Dublin in opposition to Trumps visit to Ireland. The Industrial Workers of the World took part in one of the largest demonstrations alongside other organisations from feminist and LGBTQI+, Anti War and Palestine Solidarity campaigns to anti-racist and environmental groups.

Similar demonstrations to place in both Cork and Belfast. During the demonstration in Dublin a spokesperson for the IWW Ireland Branch said "It's important for all of us to be on the streets on days such as this. To highlight the level of opposition to Trump and his fascist agenda. It's important for all of us as workers to be on the streets, in solidarity and in collaboration with others, to show clearly that we reject Trump and everything he represents."
