Rebel County held its first Radical Bookfair

Our thanks to everyone who helped create and bring to life the first ever Cork Radical Bookfair at the weekend. "Well done to all those who played apart in putting it all together. This event is an important development for radical politics in Cork and we look forward to it getting bigger and better."

The Industrial Workers of the World were delighted to join with many others in the first Cork Radical Bookfair. A spokesperson for the IWW Ireland Branch said that "We have had a great response to our stall and we distributed a lot of information on the union and the politics of Solidarity Unionism.

"The talks held as part of today's book fair were pretty good throughout the day. Of course, the many interactions we had fuelled the different conversations.

"Well done to all those who played apart in putting it all together. It's really needed in the city. This event is an important development for radical politics in Cork and we look forward to it getting bigger and better. Corcaigh Abú!"
