TRADE UNION VICTORY: Dublin

On 2nd October members of the IWW attended a picket in support of a member of IWU Dublin branch.

The member's employer had bullied him and was refusing to pay compensation that the Workplace Relations Commission had ruled the member was owed.

After less than an hour of picketing the employer caved and agreed to pay the full sum owed. We can confirm that the worker has been paid his compensation in full.

This is the power of a union. As individuals the bosses can push us around but together we are strong.

Solidarity and direct action get the goods!
