International Transgender Day of Visibility

Updated: Apr 7, 2021

The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) today honors International Transgender Day of Visibility and calls for full equality for transgender and non-binary people.

March 31 is a day to celebrate transgender and non-binary people everywhere and to acknowledge the courage it takes to live openly and authentically. As allies, we need to use the day to raise awareness around the discrimination and violence that trans people still face.

We must never forget those who still feel invisible even in their own communities and who may live every day with fear of discrimination or violence, and we must resolve to fight for a world where every transgender and non-binary person is respected and protected.

An injury to one is an injury to all!
