Dublin IWW Celebrate May Day
On May first members of the I.W.W Dublin branch gathered in town to celebrate international workers day.
Branch members performed a banner drop beneath the statue of Jim Larkin and distributed flyers on O'connell Street. After that we moved on to Liberty Hall for a picture with fellow wobbly, James Connolly.
Despite the occasional questioning by passing members of An Garda Síochána, and members of the far right, we had a few covid deniers giving us hassle but the day passed without incident and was a great opportunity to meet other branch members after so long in lockdown.
Solidarity from Dublin to the workers of the world!
