International Solidarity with Palestine - Stop the Genocide!

Across the country, thousands of people came on to the streets to mark the 3rd anniversary of the ongoing genocide.
From Dublin to Derry, Cork and Belfast workers joined demonstrations to express their solidarity with the people of Palestine, but also to demand an immediate end to the genocide.
Members of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) participated in events and actions organised by the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC).
During the Palestine solidarity action in Derry, as the demonstration made its way from Bishops Gate to the Guildhall Square, a spokesperson for the IWW Derry said that they condemned the continuing genocide by the Israeli Zionist regime and stated:

"The Industrial Workers of the World around the country are participating in today's demonstrations to express our solidarity with the people of Palestine. It's important that all of us continue to speak about the terror inflicted upon the people of Palestine. Just because it's no longer in the headlines doesn't mean that the genocide is over for the people of Gaza. Atrocities are relentless and the Zionist regime has no interest in stopping. We must remain on the streets, continue the boycott campaign and speak to our fellow workers, our family and friends on how they too can help make a difference.

"It was great to have a number of speakers who addressed today's rally in Derry. There was local activists as well as a Palestinian activist, now living locally and separated from their family in Gaza. We also had Brendàn MacCionnaith, the Chairperson of the Garvaghy Road Residents, as the main speaker. Brendàn made the important connection between both struggles as that community received messages of support and solidarity from people within Gaza.
"For us as internationalists, as an international labour movement, it is clear that we to must stand against division, against sectarianism, against oppression and injustice in all its forms, be it in Palestine or on the Garvaghy Road. Our solidarity knows no borders."
