IWW Solidarity with Lou

Lou is the model of what a caring member of the community looks like. She’s worked at the women’s charity Refuge for 9 years, spending her life supporting those in need and always being there for her workmates, too.

Sadly, Lou’s son has been in an accident and has a long road to recovery. This will take time and money and is especially difficult given that she’s a single parent.

Given all the good work Lou has done for her community - including organising for better conditions at her workplace - we’re asking the community to give back to her.

This fundraiser is being organised by the IWW, Lou’s union.

All proceeds will go directly to her to help her cover medical and travel costs and so she can spend time with her son without worrying about expenses piling up.

Please give generously. If you live in London or Bristol, keep an eye for socials that the union will be organising as a way to raise funds for Lou.
